Catherine Crandall
Catherine founded ABODE Fine Living in 2011 after a life-long passion of shopping the world for unique artifacts. This love of the hunt for the unusual came at an early age after her father took her to the Thieves Antique Market in Virginia. Her creative thought process lends her to shop for unique and timeless home décor and furnishings. Catherine draws on design inspiration from her travel experiences and her philosophy to buy you what you love; if you hesitate and go back, it will most likely be gone. Catherine has two adult kids in the greater Phoenix area, is on the Board of Directors for Altered Tails, is an advocate for animal rescue & adoptions, supports Lucky Dog Rescue, and has 2-4 rescue dogs in her home at any given time. Catherine graduated from UC Berkeley with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Corporate Finance.

Store Manager

Jeff Brown
Jeff has always had a love for great design which has complimented his 30 plus years in the fine art and custom picture framing industry. “My design aesthetics tend to be clean lined, modern yet earthy and comfortable. Mid-Century modern and Asian are some of my favorite inspirations. I love mixing elements like rough wood and nickel plating or acrylic and hand hammered iron. Texture is a big thing for me as well as anything unusual.” Working on his own remodel and antique hunting are also big passions. “I love the hunt, finding great items and using them in a new light. Repurposing is a great reward for me.”

From humble beginnings, ABODE Fine Living opened in the Fall of 2011 with “Things that we love”. We were selected Nationwide as one of the TOP 50 New Stores in 2012 by Home Accents Today magazine. In the July Issue, ABODE received special recognition with a featured article.
